Palash Bharadwaj received his PhD in Physics from the University of Rochester in 2012. After a postdoctoral stay at ETH Zurich, he started his own group at Rice’s ECE Department in July 2016. He is interested in the creation and understanding of opto-electronic functionality out of nanoscale matter.

 

Aswathy V. Girija

Aswathy Girija received her BS and MS from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune in 2015 with a specialization in Physics. Her research is on engineered optical chirality in 2D materials.

 

James Kerwin

James Kerwin was a Rice undergrad majoring in Electrical Engineering (2013) before he left for Boston to work in industry. He returned to Rice for graduate studies in 2015, and is currently working on single photon emitting defects in 2D materials.

 

Ali Asghar Mojibpour

Ali Mojibpour got a BS in Communication Engineering from Shiraz University (2013) and an MS in Semiconductor Engineering from University of Tehran in 2015. Ali is developing electrically-connected plasmonic nanoantennas for light emission and detection.
